Jason Burstein
Jason Burstein is a vice president of Strategica.
He is responsible for overseeing a home health agency in Daytona Beach, Fla., that provides skilled nurses for patients released from a variety of facilities. Mr. Burstein helped increase sales by analyzing the current referral source and identifying new sources of business. He also assisted in the financing, acquisition and implementation of the home health business. He is actively seeking other acquisition targets.
In addition, Mr. Burstein monitors the company’s gaming operations, which include more than 40 locations in Ecuador. He is responsible for the acquisition of new locations and the analysis of current locations to increase productivity and profitability. He is also involved in procuring growth financing for the company.
Previously the executive vice president of a mortgage brokerage and financial services firm, Mr. Burstein built a successful team of brokers and financial advisors. He also developed key account strategies and was involved in new account acquisitions and the negotiation of strategic partnerships.
In his previous position, Mr. Burstein spearheaded the following initiatives:
- successfully restructured the sales organization
- developed a sales campaign and collateral materials to target new markets
- implemented brokerage training and financial services training programs for new hires
- designed and implemented systems, processes, and strategies that resulted in higher productivity and profitability.
He also assisted in arranging a $21.5 million construction financing for a joint venture project between a German REIT and a premier South Florida developer, and he participated in the facilitation of the sale of the German REIT’s interest to the developer.
Mr. Burstein is involved in significant capital raising for various Strategica entities. His expertise includes analyzing financial statements, generating detailed reports and creating investment prospectuses for various business opportunities.
He graduated from the University of Miami with a master’s degree in corporate finance and currently holds a mortgage broker and real estate salesperson license in the State of Florida. He recently received a Young Leadership Award from Bar-Ilan University.
